1. What are Break Free Locks and how do they work?
Allo is India's First Glass Container with Break free locks.
The specialty of the break-free locks as the name suggests is that they are unbreakable, unlike other containers where these locks break very easily after a while.
These locks are also removable. This serves two purposes – you can easily open your glass lunch box (just by applying mild pressure from the opposite side of the locks from the side of lids) and clean it very easily and efficiently. You can even wash them separately for the best results according to your wish and requirement.
2. Can I use my plastic lids in the oven or microwave?
The plastic lids of the Allo containers are not microwave safe and thus you should not use them in the oven or microwave. Moreover, any plastic no matter how well guaranteed to be microwave safe is actually not.
It will release chemicals into your food. So you should generally avoid using any kind of plastic with your food in the microwave.
3. Are my plastic lids dishwasher safe?
Yes, Allo glass containers as well as the plastic lids on them are completely dishwasher safe containers.
You can use the lids in the dishwasher to clean it as per your convenience. We just recommend you to place it on the top rack only to avoid and minimize any chances of damage.
