Ingredients

1 bowl rice flour
1 finely chopped onion
Chopped green chillies
Freshly chopped coriander
Ginger garlic paste

Instructions:

Dough Preparation

  1. Take 1 bowl of rice flour and add the following ingredients.
  2. We add the chopped onion, 1tsp of ginger garlic paste, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander, freshly chopped dill, 1tsp of cumin seeds and salt according to taste.
  3. We mix all the ingredients together. We add ½ cup of water and continue mixing it.
  4. We add extra water if needed to make the dough. If you add more water then you can add some more rice flour to keep the dough firm.
  5. Once we have made the dough, we will let it rest for atleast 15-30 minutes.

Rotti Preparation

  1.  We take a handful of dough as shown and put it on a greased butter paper (you can use fresh banana leaf if it is available). We gently tap the dough ball flat and make it into a circular shaped rotti.
  2. We tap the roti to the desired thickness and once it is done, we flip it over on a hot pan. Make sure to keep the pan hot.
  3. Add 1tsp of oil or ghee to roast the roti. We flip the roti when it is fully cooked on one side.
  4. Cook until well cooked on both sides.
  5. Similarly, we make some more rotis.

Peanut Coconut Chutney

  1. We take 1tsp oil in a PAN and add peanuts and fry them.
  2. We add 3-4 dried red chillies and continue roasting them.
  3. We add salt according to taste, optionally you can add some tamarind.
  4. Once this is cooled down, we take fresh grated coconut in a mixer and add the roasted peanuts and chillies.
  5. We blend it all into  a fine paste and Peanut Coconut Chutney is ready.
