Potato Fingers recipe - Allo Recipes

Potato fingers, also known as potato wedges or potato fries, are a popular snack that can be found all over the world. They are essentially thick-cut potatoes that have been seasoned and baked or fried until they are crispy and golden brown. Ingredients 

Potatoes - 4 Nos
Salt - 1 tsp
Pepper 
Cheese - 3/4th cup 
Chili Flakes - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves - chopped
Corn Flour - 2 tsp
Water, as required 
Dry Flour - Maida
Oil


Instructions 

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes completely. 
  2. Add the breadcrumbs, cornflour, chilly flakes, pepper powder, oregano, salt, cheese and coriander leaves and bind them together.
  3. To make the slurry, take all purpose flour. To it, add salt and chilli flakes.
  4. Slowly add water and keep on stirring to get the same consistency and avoiding lumps as shown in the video.
  5. Now, make finger sized cutlets from the bound ingredients.
  6. Dip these cutlets first in the slurry and then cover them with breadcrumbs to give a crispy texture. Then, fry the cutlets until golden brown. 
  7. Crispy and tasty potato fingers are ready to be served with your choice of favorite chutney.
