
Ingredients
250gm Maida (All Purpose Flour)
Yeast (Optionally 1tsp baking powder + ½ tsp baking soda)
Finely chopped Garlic
Finely chopped Coriander
Yogurt
Instructions
- We take 1 tsp of yeast and add some water. Usually we use baking powder and baking soda, but I am using yeast for making the dough preparation.
- We add the Maida, yeast and 2-3tbsp of yogurt into a mixing bowl.
- We add 1 tsp of sugar and salt according to taste.
- We add ½ cup of warm water to this and mix it into a smooth dough.
- If needed we add additional water. We make a soft dough, in the end we add 1-2 tsp oil to the dough.
- We cover the dough and let it rest for 1-2 hours for the dough to rise.
- The dough has risen well, we mix into a uniform dough and ready to make the Kulchas.
- We take some flour on the rolling board.
- We take the soft dough and tap it into a kulcha form. There is no fixed shape, roughly tapped into the desired thickness.
- We add the toppings to the kulcha. We add some sesame seeds, chopped garlic and chopped garlic.
- Tap the toppings gently
- Similarly, make kulcha with different topics, we make plain kulcha with just sesame and coriander toppings.
- Take a pan and some butter to the pan.
- Once the pan is hot, we take the kulcha and add it to the pan.
- We add some butter and flip it after the bottom is cooked well.
- We let it cook until it is golden on the top.
- Similarly, we make other kulchas.
- Serve it with butter and other dishes to enjoy with!
